Equipped with a 1000 gallon per minute pump, 2500 gallon porta-tank, and rear and side dump valves Tanker 2 is a very valuable piece to the Department. In our rural community where there are not many hydrants Tanker 2 provides a large quantity of water until additional water sources are available. |

APPARATUS ID: 57 TANKER 1 PURCHASED: 1996 RESPONSE: Second due tanker - Structure Fire, Chimney Fire First due tanker - Brush Fires INFO: Tanker 1 is the older of the two tankers and holds considerably less water then Tanker 2. Tanker 1's size and all wheel drive makes it ideal for getting water to forest fires that are in remote locations. Tanker 1 has a Chevrolet 6x6 chassis with a Valley manufactured body. With a 750 gallon per minute pump, 1750 gallons of water, and 3 dump valves Tanker 1 is versatile and as mentioned is great resource for fighting forest fires. |

Rescue 1 is also equipped with a cascade system used for filling air bottles used by firefighters when fighting fires. |

APPARATUS ID: 57 FORESTRY 1 PURCHASED: 2002 RESPONSE: Brush and Forestry Fires, Service Calls INFO: Forestry 1 is a 1985 Chevrolet 4x4 equipped with a forestry skid unit and forestry tools during brush fire season. In the winter months Forestry 1 become Utility 1 which is used to transport specialty rescue tools unique to the winter months. The forestry skid unit is equipped with a pump, water tank, and forestry hose. Some of the forestry tools that equip Forestry 1 are rakes, shovels, axes, and chainsaws. |

APPARATUS ID: 57 ENGINE 1 PURCHASED: 1991 RESPONSE: Second due piece - Structure Fire, Chimney Fire, Service Calls INFO: Engine 1 is secondary to Engine 2 carrying out many of the same tasks and is quite often a support truck for any calls we have in town. Engine 1 is a Mack E-One series with a 1250 gallon per minute pump. This truck holds a 1000 gallons of water and has 1000 ft of 4" hose. Engine 1 is also equipped with a dump valve and a deck gun. |
